About the job
Tebi is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and grow a senior team of App Engineers in Amsterdam. In this role, you will drive the app roadmap, shape architecture decisions, and foster a strong engineering culture.
What you will do
- Lead and grow a senior team of App Engineers
- Drive the app roadmap and translate business priorities into a shippable plan
- Drive architecture decisions across native and cross-platform code
- Build a strong engineering culture by mentoring the team
- Run day-to-day team operations like 1:1s, planning, hiring, and performance feedback
- Actively contribute to the product roadmap by shipping features
What you bring
- 7+ years of professional experience as a mobile engineer
- 2+ years of experience in leadership roles
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical trade-offs
- Proven experience managing engineering teams as a people manager
- Strong technical background in iOS, Android, or cross-platform mobile development
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to set direction without perfect information
