About the job
Mondu is a fintech company in Amsterdam seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to own and maintain its regulatory compliance framework. In this role, you will act as the primary contact with De Nederlandsche Bank and advise senior leadership on compliance risk.
What you will do
- Own and maintain regulatory compliance framework
- Act as primary contact with De Nederlandsche Bank
- Advise senior leadership on compliance risk
- Draft and maintain compliance policies and governance documentation
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and gap analyses
- Support governance processes and compliance reporting
What you bring
- About 5 years compliance experience in a regulated financial entity
- Deep knowledge of Dutch and EU payment and e-money regulations
- Experience managing regulator relationships
- Strong policy drafting and governance documentation skills
- Comfortable advising senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Solution-oriented mindset and tech-savvy, including AI experience
Nice to have
- Experience in BNPL, merchant payments, or EMIs
- Familiarity with governance requirements for financial services
- Experience using AI for compliance tasks
