AniCura Group is looking for a Senior GL Accountant to manage accounting activities for a portfolio of veterinary clinics and support financial operations across multiple entities. The role involves preparing financial reporting, ensuring compliance for Dutch legal entities, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders. This position offers a hybrid working model and the opportunity to contribute to process improvements within a multinational organization.
What you will do
- Own accounting activities for a portfolio of veterinary clinics
- Support financial operations across multiple entities
- Prepare financial reporting and ensure compliance for Dutch legal entities
- Collaborate with market operations, finance colleagues, clinics, and external auditors
- Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline
- 3 to 5 years' accounting and financial reporting experience in a Shared Service Centre, large matrix organization, or audit environment
- Strong reconciliation, journal posting, and month-end close experience
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze financial data
- Fluent in Dutch and English
Nice to have
- Progress towards a professional accounting qualification
- Experience with Oracle ERP
- Experience with statutory audits
- Experience with Dutch compliance requirements
