Pinely is looking for a Senior Research Engineer to bridge the gap between ML research and production. You will turn prototypes into robust systems and own challenging parts of the ML stack. This role is based in Amsterdam.
What you will do
- Turn research prototypes into robust production systems
- Remove infrastructure bottlenecks for researchers
- Build and improve internal ML platform
- Own technically challenging areas of ML stack end-to-end
- Make training reproducible and observable
- Contribute directly to research when useful
What you bring
- Strong background in ML systems or research engineering
- Experience with large-scale ML training or data infrastructure
- Hands-on experience making ML research faster or more reliable
- Ability to independently investigate complex systems
- Strong engineering judgment for code quality and reproducibility
- Ability to work closely with researchers
