About the job
GenScript/ProBio is seeking an mRNA Production Technician to join their team in Delft. In this role, you will be responsible for processing DNA and performing enzymatic reactions to produce and purify mRNA, ensuring high-quality products for biotech applications.
What you will do
- Process DNA via PCR, digestion, and purification for in-vitro transcription
- Perform enzymatic reactions to produce and process mRNA
- Purify mRNA using HPLC, spin columns, and other technologies
- Run quality checks on in-process and final products
- Follow production SOPs and maintain documentation
- Manage inventory and order materials
What you bring
- MBO Level 4, Associate Degree, HBO Bachelor's, or equivalent in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related field
- Experience with mRNA or oligonucleotide chemistry
- Experience with PCR, HPLC, or enzymatic reactions
- Experience with isolation and characterization techniques (column chromatography, HPLC, MS)
- Ability to work in a cross-disciplinary team
- Fluent in English
