Eternal Sun Group BV is seeking a Global Team Lead Software Engineer to lead and guide software engineering teams in The Hague and Leipzig. This role involves managing software architecture, tooling, and development for solar simulators while integrating ways of working across locations.
What you will do
- Lead and guide software engineering teams in The Hague and Leipzig
- Manage software architecture and tooling
- Develop and maintain software for control, data acquisition, and visualization of solar simulators
- Maintain current software stack (C#, Python, Angular, Java, PLC structured text, Firmware C++, SQL)
- Design and implement new features in consultation with users and colleagues
- Integrate and merge ways of working between locations
What you bring
- Senior level team management role
- Manage and coach teams of about 17 FTE across two locations
- Act as link between engineers, Head of Engineering, and project leaders
- Plan and execute work on time
- Support customers and service engineers remotely and sometimes on location
- Travel about 25% of the time, mostly to Leipzig
