Cross Border Talents is seeking an Engine Performance Calibration Engineer to join a reputable heavy vehicle manufacturer in Eindhoven. In this role, you will develop heavy duty diesel engines with a focus on performance and ECU calibration, while validating new prototype engines.

What you will do

Develop heavy duty diesel engines focusing on performance and ECU calibration
Calibrate and develop mechatronic engine components
Validate performance of new prototype engines
Perform engine calibration tasks for optimal fuel economy and performance
Improve tools and processes proactively
Document test results, tool usage, and improvements

What you bring

Master's degree in Mechatronics, Automotive Technology, or Mechanical Engineering
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
Strong affinity with internal combustion engines
Engine testing experience, preferably on heavy duty truck engines
Experience in heavy duty truck engine calibration
Matlab experience in modeling and scripting

Nice to have

Knowledge of statistics
Excellent English skills
