KRUSH Labs B.V. in Eindhoven is looking for a Senior Embedded Software Test Engineer to define and maintain test strategies for embedded products. The role involves working on next-generation firmware and hardware integration, collaborating with top talent and PhD scientists to bridge theoretical research and real-world application.

What you will do

  • Define and maintain test methodology and infrastructure for embedded products
  • Select and maintain test frameworks and tools, build test benches and hardware setups
  • Execute test scenarios and provide test reports
  • Identify, investigate, and document defects
  • Establish traceability between requirements, tests, defects, and release criteria
  • Define and execute release validation and CI/CD regression tests

What you bring

  • Technical education in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years in embedded software testing, with 5+ years in embedded systems
  • Experience with microcontroller-based systems, single-board computers, and Linux
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and automated regression testing
  • Solid understanding of test design techniques and test levels
  • Familiarity with embedded communication protocols like USB, UART, SPI, I2C

Nice to have

  • 1-2 years of FPGA and board testing experience
  • Experience testing proprietary communication protocols
  • Familiarity with JTAG, SWD, Wireshark, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, antenna analyzers, or spectrum analyzers
  • Experience with test automation using Python, shell scripting, or C++
  • Competence in using measurement equipment like multimeters or oscilloscopes
