About the job

Invisix is looking for a Software Architect to define and maintain software architecture across the full stack. You will coordinate technical work with internal and external development teams, oversee high-performance computing solutions for large-scale metrology data, and guide algorithm speed optimization. This role offers full ownership of the technology and a central position within the company.

What you will do

  • Define and maintain software architecture across the full stack
  • Coordinate technical work across internal and external development teams
  • Oversee high-performance computing solutions for large-scale metrology data
  • Guide algorithm speed optimization for measurement data interpretation
  • Set technical agreements with external development partners
  • Get hands-on with challenging issues at any level of the stack

What you bring

  • Strong expertise in software engineering and architecture
  • 7 to 10 years of professional software development with architectural responsibility
  • 3 to 5 years as technical lead for a team or complex software project
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++
  • Experience profiling and optimizing performance-critical code

Nice to have

  • PhD in computer science, physics, applied mathematics, or computational science
  • Familiarity with C#
  • Experience with high-performance computing, parallel processing, or large-scale data processing
  • Background in semiconductor physics, metrology, or measurement technologies
  • Experience with algorithm development, mathematical modeling, inverse problems, or computational physics
  • Experience with physics-informed machine learning or deep neural networks
