Gilead Sciences is looking for a Project Engineer to lead the technical definition, design, and delivery of facility, utility, and equipment projects in Hoofddorp. In this role, you will translate business needs into engineering concepts and ensure compliance with cGMP requirements.
What you will do
- Lead technical definition, design and delivery of facility, utility and equipment projects
- Translate business needs into engineering concepts and technical solutions
- Lead feasibility studies and option assessments with external partners
- Develop or coordinate technical specifications and tender packages
- Review and challenge designs and deliverables from engineering partners
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and cGMP requirements
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- At least 6 years of engineering experience in cGMP manufacturing or regulated industry
- Experience leading technical design and delivery of projects
- Ability to translate operational needs into practical solutions
- Experience with specifications, feasibility studies, and tender documentation
- Knowledge of cGMP, change management, risk management, and CAPA
Nice to have
- Experience with AutoCAD or Revit
- Experience working with external design partners
