About the job

EVERIENCE is looking for a Junior Project Manager to support technical R&T and innovation projects in Leiden. In this hybrid role, you will monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables while coordinating with engineers and partners. You will facilitate workshops and manage reporting for publicly funded projects.

What you will do

  • Monitor project schedules, milestones, deliverables and budgets
  • Support Project Leaders in executing technical R&T and innovation projects
  • Translate technical developments into reports and documentation
  • Manage project budgets, contracts, risks and financial reporting
  • Coordinate contractual and reporting obligations for publicly funded projects
  • Facilitate workshops and project meetings using methodologies like Lean, Agile, Scrum or Design Thinking

What you bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or related field
  • Approximately 2–5 years of relevant project management experience
  • Experience managing stakeholders in complex organisations or projects
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts and project risks
  • Sufficient technical understanding to work with engineers
  • Excellent command of English

Nice to have

  • Experience with publicly funded research projects or public-private partnerships
  • Experience with SAP
  • Knowledge of Lean methodologies or project management certification such as PMP, IPMA or Scrum
  • Experience in aerospace, high-tech innovation, energy transition or similar technically complex environment
