EVERIENCE is looking for a Lead Engineer to drive technical execution in the space and high-tech industry. Based in Leiden, this role involves translating customer needs into robust engineering solutions and guiding projects from concept to completion.
What you will do
- Lead technical execution of development projects
- Translate customer requirements into technical solutions
- Support selection and optimization of product solutions
- Review mechanical designs and engineering concepts
- Provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycle
- Support project planning with effort and cost estimates
What you bring
- Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Aerospace Engineering or related field
- 5-10 years of relevant engineering experience
- Experience providing technical leadership or guiding engineering teams
- Experience in high-tech manufacturing or product development
- Experience reviewing mechanical designs and technical drawings
- Experience with CAD software like CATIA or similar
Nice to have
- Knowledge of mechanical analysis tools like ANSYS
- Experience in aerospace or space industry
- Dutch language skills
