Lely is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Linux) to join their team in Maassluis. In this role, you will develop and maintain a Linux-based embedded robotics platform, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.

What you will do

Develop and maintain Linux-based embedded robotics platform including kernel and user-space components
Configure, integrate, and debug Linux systems for reliability, performance, and security
Support integration of new hardware platforms such as ARM and x86
Collaborate with embedded software, electronics, and robotics engineers and external partners
Contribute to software quality and development practices through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

What you bring

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Software Engineering, or related field
At least 5 years of experience with Linux-based embedded systems and software development
Experience with Linux kernel development including configuring, building, and debugging kernels
Knowledge of hardware architectures such as ARM and x86
Experience with programming and scripting languages like C, C++, Python, Bash, or Makefiles
Experience working in multidisciplinary Agile teams
