About the job

As a Consultant Data Engineer at Sia, you will work on client projects and build AI solutions using cloud services like GCP, AWS, and Azure. You will containerize and orchestrate applications with Docker and Kubernetes, develop server-side tools in Python, and manage CI/CD pipelines. This role is based in Maastricht.

Working on client projects and building Sia AI solutions
Using cloud services on GCP, AWS, and Azure
Containerizing and orchestrating applications with Docker and Kubernetes
Developing server-side tools in Python
Managing CI/CD pipelines
Developing ETL scripts in Big Data environments

What you bring

Master's degree with strong quantitative component
1-3 years of relevant experience in Data, DevOps, Cloud, or Software Engineering
Good level in Python and solid foundation in other languages
Familiar with at least one SQL DBMS, ideally PostgreSQL
Comfortable using Docker and automating CI/CD pipelines
Excellent English and Dutch verbal and written skills

Nice to have

Familiar with noSQL, ideally MongoDB
Familiar with at least one cloud services platform
Experience with Kubernetes
Mastery of Gitlab-CE ecosystem
Familiar with Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools, ideally Terraform
Experience in implementing application protection solutions
