About the job

As a Junior Forward Deployed Engineer at Sia, you'll work directly on client sites alongside a senior engineer to build and deploy LLM-based solutions. This role combines technical implementation with client-facing support, helping organizations integrate AI while meeting data protection and regulatory standards.

What you will do

Learn on client sites with a senior engineer
Help scope and build LLM-based solutions
Connect solutions to existing systems
Apply data protection and AI regulation requirements
Support user adoption with documentation and training
Measure solution performance and suggest improvements

What you bring

Master's degree in computer science, AI, or related field
0 to 2 years of experience
Built with LLMs in some form
Write clean Python
Comfortable calling APIs and connecting systems
Speak Dutch and English

Nice to have

Experience with applied AI frameworks or SDKs
Experience deploying a project to a cloud environment
Familiarity with MLOps or LLMOps practices
Understanding of vector databases and embeddings
