About the job

Sia is looking for a Senior Data Science Consultant to join their team in Maastricht. In this role, you will develop advanced predictive models and lead projects involving Generative AI and large language models.

What you will do

Develop and oversee advanced predictive and explanatory models
Lead projects using Generative AI and large language models
Manage client engagements as a trusted advisor
Guide multidisciplinary project teams and mentor members
Contribute to internal training sessions and publications
Support business development and client relationships

What you bring

WO Master's degree in Data Science, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
3-6 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent academic research
Strong analytical mindset and ability to synthesize insights
Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
Interest in data and AI topics
Fast learner with adaptability and entrepreneurial drive

Nice to have

Dutch or French fluency
Proven interest in Data Science, Generative AI, and sectors like Energy and Finance
