About the job
Nebul B.V. is looking for a Network Automation Engineer to join their Netherlands office. In this role, you will design and implement software-defined networking in OpenStack and automate network configuration and monitoring using Python and Ansible.
What you will do
- Design and implement software-defined networking in OpenStack
- Automate network configuration and monitoring with Python and Ansible
- Ensure connectivity across data centers and hybrid environments
- Develop provisioning systems and APIs for self-service deployment
- Monitor network performance and implement observability
- Collaborate with security teams on segmentation and encryption
What you bring
- Experience managing and automating networks in OpenStack
- Deep knowledge of SDN, routing, switching, and Layer 2/3 protocols
- Hands-on experience with Ansible, Python, or Terraform
- Familiarity with Linux networking, VPNs, VXLAN, BGP, and cloud firewalls
- Understanding of network security and compliance
- Valid work permit for the Netherlands and residence in the Netherlands
Nice to have
- Experience with NVIDIA hardware or AI-optimized infrastructure
- Integrating networking with Kubernetes or hybrid cloud
- Knowledge of CI/CD for network automation
- Familiarity with NetBox, FRRouting, Calico, or OVN/OVS
