About the job
Sonic Automotive is looking for an experienced leader to take on the role of Automotive General Manager at Philpott Hyundai in Nederland. You will oversee all dealership operations, ensuring profitability and strong relationships with factory partners and lenders.
What you will do
- Review and improve department managers' monthly forecasts and plans
- Ensure each department operates profitably
- Maintain relationships with factory and lending institutions
- Formulate policies and procedures for training programs
- Oversee personnel functions including hiring and performance evaluation
- Coordinate with business office for accurate records and analysis
What you bring
- At least two years experience as an Automotive Retail General Manager
- At least five years in a supervisory position
- Excellent communication skills in person, on phone, and in writing
- Authorized to work in the USA
- Pass pre-employment testing including background checks and drug test
Nice to have
- College degree preferred
- Experience as a GSM or GM at a publicly held dealership
