Join the team at Clickhouse, a company at the forefront of database technology, as a Senior Software Engineer for Cloud Infrastructure. This remote role, based in the Netherlands, focuses on building and scaling the infrastructure that powers a cloud-native platform.

What you will do

Architect and build robust, scalable, highly available distributed infrastructure
Build a cloud-native platform on public cloud and automate resource management
Collaborate with core database and security teams for SaaS offering
Work on routing and traffic components for reliability and scalability
Improve availability using industry and distributed systems best practices
Design security components like firewall, PKI, zero trust network

What you bring

5+ years experience building scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems
Software development in Go, C/C++, Java, or another OOP language
Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Experience developing cloud infrastructure services, preferably with Kubernetes
Experience with cloud native edge or service mesh, preferably Envoy and Istio
Understanding of network topologies, protocols, security principles (VPNs, firewalls, load balancers)
