Xebia is looking for a Gen AI Engineer to design and build AI agents that enhance software development. In this hybrid role based in the Randstad, you'll turn GenAI experiments into reusable components and help teams integrate agentic capabilities into their workflows.

What you will do

Design and build AI agents for code writing, testing, reviewing, and shipping
Turn GenAI experiments into reusable building blocks for teams
Embed agentic capabilities into existing engineering tools and workflows
Define standards for agent design, system integration, and developer experience
Help teams measure the impact of AI tooling on software delivery
Coach and mentor engineers on using GenAI and coding agents

What you bring

3–6 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, cloud, ML engineering, or data science
Passionate about AI and constantly experimenting
Experience using coding agents and agentic tools in practice
Comfortable building across languages, tools, and stacks
Experience with cloud platforms and solid engineering fundamentals
Can go from ambiguous idea to working software

Nice to have

Can show a side project, prototype, or tool built out of curiosity
