About the job
Vstep is looking for a Project Manager to lead large, long-lead navy projects from start to finish. Based in Rotterdam, you will manage the full project lifecycle and coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and production teams.
What you will do
- Manage large, long-lead navy projects from kick-off to handover
- Track progress across engineering, supply chain, and production
- Manage full project lifecycle: requirements, concept design, procurement, delivery, commissioning
- Report on project status, flag risks, take corrective action
- Write and maintain project documentation
- Manage expectations and communicate with stakeholders
What you bring
- At least 3-5 years of experience in similar project management role
- Experience with milestone-driven frameworks like Stage-Gate
- Strong written and spoken English
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Valid Dutch work permit
- Dutch driving license category B
Nice to have
- Experience in maritime or related industrial sector
- Dutch language
- Knowledge of logistics and export
