Hudl is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to lead camera hardware design from concept through production. Based in 's-Hertogenbosch, this hybrid role involves setting technical standards and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams.
What you will do
- Lead camera hardware design from concept through production
- Set technical standards and define system-level requirements
- Collaborate with electrical, firmware, optics, product and manufacturing partners
- Build and validate test plans and qualify mechanical performance
What you bring
- Bachelor's or master's in mechanical engineering or mechatronics
- Eight or more years of hands-on mechanical or electromechanical design experience
- Deep expertise in 3D CAD like SolidWorks or NX, GD&T, tolerance analysis
- Proven track record with DFM, DFA, requirements management and failure analysis
- Analytical problem-solving skills and understanding of industry standards
- Exceptional communication and cross-discipline collaboration skills
Nice to have
- Familiarity with integrating electrical components into mechanical systems
- Knowledge of camera or optical system design
- Familiarity with real-time tracking systems and environmental challenges
- Experience using field-test data to validate and iterate on mechanical designs
