Redcare Pharmacy is seeking an Indirect Tax Manager to serve as the VAT and Indirect Tax expert for its operations in Sevenum. In this role, you will advise on complex matters, specialize in e-commerce VAT issues, and collaborate with various departments to integrate tax requirements into processes and systems.

What you will do

Serve as VAT and Indirect Tax expert for Redcare Pharmacy, advising on complex matters and new business models
Specialise in VAT issues from e-commerce and marketplace activities, translating regulatory changes into operational consequences
Manage Indirect Tax audits and maintain relationships with external advisers and tax authorities
Identify VAT risks and opportunities, support compliance and reporting, including transactional data quality
Collaborate with Finance, IT/data/AI, and commercial stakeholders to reflect VAT requirements in processes and systems
Improve VAT processes, controls, and automation in high-volume transactional environments, and contribute to function development

What you bring

Master's degree or equivalent in Tax Law, Fiscal Economics, Taxation, or related field with completed fiscal/tax education
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in VAT and Indirect Tax, preferably in Big 4 or tax advisory
Expert knowledge of Dutch VAT and Indirect Tax regulations, with solid understanding of European and international VAT frameworks
Demonstrated experience managing VAT compliance, tax audits, cross-border transactions, and EU VAT matters
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience improving VAT processes, controls, and automation
Fluency in Dutch and English, excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills

Nice to have

Experience working with multinational organisations, ERP systems, and tax technology platforms
Pragmatic, business-oriented mindset with meticulous attention to detail and IT-ERP system knowledge
