AWP Safety is looking for a Temporary Signer to join their team in St. John's. In this role, you ensure that temporary workplaces are properly signed and safe for both workers and the public.
What you will do
- Ensure temporary workplaces are signed per provincial requirements
- Load required equipment onto truck before departure
- Interact with customers to determine scope and traffic control needs
- Ensure Traffic Control Persons follow safety policies
- Act as Traffic Control Person during breaks
- Perform routine inspections of temporary workplaces
What you bring
- Provincial Traffic Control Person Certification
- Provincial Traffic Control Agent/Signer Certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Steel-toe boots
Nice to have
- Nova Scotia Traffic Control Person Certificate
- Nova Scotia Temporary Workplace Signer Certificate
- Nova Scotia Class 5 Driver's license
