About the job
Valsoft Corporation is looking for a senior accountant to join their team remotely from the Netherlands. In this role, you will handle complex financial tasks such as period close, balance sheet analysis, and intercompany reconciliations.
What you will do
- Perform financial period close tasks and complex journal entries
- Perform balance sheet analysis and reconciliations
- Follow up with vendors on missing invoices and manage cost accruals
- Reconcile intercompany transactions
- Prepare financial KPIs and review accuracy
- Prepare and process payroll tax returns, VAT returns, and ICP declarations
What you bring
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Multi-currency and multi-entity experience
- Expertise in accrual accounting
- Hands-on experience with Dutch GAAP
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
- Fluent English and authorized to work in the Netherlands
Nice to have
- Dutch language
- NetSuite experience
- Professional qualification in bookkeeping or accounting
- German or French language
