Speechify is looking for a Software Engineer to join the AI Data team and help build the systems that power its text-to-speech technology. The role focuses on discovering new audio data sources, building large-scale data pipelines, and collaborating with AI scientists to improve training datasets. What you will do

Discover new audio data sources and build pipelines
Build and improve large-scale data-processing systems
Collaborate with AI scientists on training datasets
Own projects from discovery to continuous improvement

What you bring

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
5+ years of software engineering experience
Proficiency in Python and Bash on Linux
Experience with production systems and data pipelines
Strong problem-solving and independent work skills

Nice to have

Experience with web crawlers or data acquisition
Experience with distributed data processing
Experience with GCP and Terraform
Familiarity with ML training data or audio processing
