Speechify is looking for a Software Engineer to join the AI Data team, focusing on discovering new audio data sources and building robust data pipelines. This remote role offers the opportunity to collaborate with AI scientists and own projects from start to finish, all while contributing to a product that has a meaningful impact.

What you will do

Discover new audio data sources and build pipelines
Build and improve large-scale data-processing systems
Collaborate with AI scientists on training datasets
Own projects from discovery to implementation

What you bring

Degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong backend development fundamentals
Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux
Experience with production systems and data pipelines

Nice to have

Experience with web crawlers or data acquisition
Experience with distributed data-processing systems
Experience with GCP and Terraform
Familiarity with ML training data or audio processing
