Speechify is looking for a Software Engineer to join its AI Data team, working remotely from anywhere. In this role, you will discover new audio data sources, build pipelines, and improve large-scale data-processing systems while collaborating with AI scientists on training datasets.

What you bring

Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong backend development fundamentals
Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments
Experience with production systems, ideally data pipelines or large-scale data processing
Strong problem-solving and independent work skills

Nice to have

Experience with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data processing
Experience with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, especially GCP and Terraform
Familiarity with ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing
