About the job
Valtech is looking for an Associate IT Engineer to join their team in Utrecht. In this hybrid role, you will handle first and second line IT support and help manage the internal IT infrastructure. This is an open-ended position with a probationary period.
What you will do
- Handle first and second line IT support via case management system
- Manage workstations, servers, and web-based collaboration tools
- Administer and develop internal IT infrastructure in Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
- Evaluate, manage, and implement new tools and technologies
What you bring
- Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering or relevant education in System Administration or IT
- 0-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and workstation imaging
- Knowledge of server environments for Windows and Linux
- Experience with Office 365, VMware, and Active Directory
- Good command of English
Nice to have
- Apple macOS knowledge
- Scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Knowledge of Service Desk incident and case management system
- Proficiency in Dutch
