About the job

ViCentra B.V. is looking for a Contract Manufacturing Specialist to manage external injection moulding suppliers in Utrecht. In this hybrid role, you will act as the operational contact for contract manufacturers, support scaling and capacity expansion, and coordinate industrialisation projects for injection moulded parts.

What you will do

  • Act as operational contact for contract manufacturers and injection moulding suppliers
  • Support scaling and capacity expansion for injection moulded parts
  • Coordinate injection moulding industrialisation projects
  • Track KPIs like cycle time, OEE, yield, and scrap
  • Facilitate project and performance meetings
  • Support NPI and product change activities for injection moulded parts

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Around 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrialisation, or supply chain engineering
  • Hands-on experience with external manufacturers of high volume plastic components
  • Understanding of injection moulding process troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Ability to manage operational and project activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent written and spoken English

Nice to have

  • Experience in medical devices or regulated industries like ISO 13485
  • Knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience supporting NPI into manufacturing
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools like Minitab, mould flow analysis, or 3D CAD/SolidWorks
