Ballast Nedam is looking for a Marine Estimator to join their team in Utrecht. In this role, you will prepare detailed cost estimates for marine and civil infrastructure projects and contribute to competitive bids. You will work on large-scale international projects within a dynamic and global environment.

What you will do

Prepare detailed cost estimates for marine and civil infrastructure projects
Analyze tender documents, technical specifications, and project requirements
Develop cost breakdown structures and pricing strategies for bids
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and logistics teams
Evaluate risks, opportunities, and constructability of marine works
Prepare tender documentation and contribute to proposal submissions

What you bring

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, Marine Engineering, or Construction Management
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in cost estimation for marine or heavy civil construction projects
Strong analytical and financial skills
Ability to work in international and multicultural environments
Excellent communication skills in English
Willingness to travel internationally when required

Nice to have

Experience with ports, marine structures, dredging, or coastal infrastructure
