About the job
Mathrix is looking for a Quant Analyst to join their team in Utrecht. In this role, you will develop systems and algorithms for automated trading software and support traders with market improvements.
What you will do
- Develop systems and algorithms for automated trading software
- Write code and create systems for complex data and processes
- Support traders with market improvements
- Design, test, and implement new trading strategies
- Perform data analysis on market and trading performance
- Build tools to streamline or automate processes
What you bring
- Master's or PhD in Physics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Econometrics or equivalent
- Exceptional grades from a top 200 university
- Passionate and knowledgeable about mathematical modeling
- Take ownership of projects and work independently
- Experience and passion for programming
Nice to have
- C++ programming experience
- Python or other language coding skills
