About the job
Mathrix is looking for a senior engineer to build high-performance trading systems in Utrecht. You will work on low-latency networking, custom data structures, and CPU-optimized code in a challenging onsite environment.
What you will do
- Write low-latency networking code for exchange communication
- Create context-switch-free code
- Design custom data storage structures with minimal footprint
- Build data pipelines using streaming paradigm
- Implement complex trading logic with low compute time
- Reimplement code using CPU SIMD features
What you bring
- Extensive knowledge of C and C++ in Linux
- Ability to verify assembly output from compiler
- Understanding of GNU/Linux system calls and their costs
- Knowledge of x64 hardware and efficient usage
- Understanding of storage structures and time complexity
- Ability to work with debuggers and profilers
Nice to have
- Experience with network engineering or low latency networking hardware
- Experience with Big Data engineering and best practices
