Join the R&D team at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS in Utrecht as an intern in Sensory Analytics & R Development. You will work on improving and maintaining R/Shiny applications for sensory scientists, developing new analytical features, and building automated reports and visualizations.

What you will do

Improve and maintain existing R/Shiny applications for sensory scientists
Develop new analytical features based on scientist needs
Build automated reports and visualizations
Create user-friendly interfaces for statistical analysis
Test and validate analytical tools
Analyze data using statistical techniques

What you bring

Enrolled in a BSc or MSc program in Data Science, Food Science, or Sensory Science with statistics background
Good understanding of statistics and data analysis
Experience programming in R
Fluent in spoken and written English
Structured approach and driven personality
Available for at least 5 months, 5 days per week

Nice to have

Exposure to Shiny application development
Basic understanding of sensory or consumer research
