About the job
AEGIR-Marine is looking for a Service Engineer to provide technical support and service on mechanical parts of propulsion systems. In this role, you will analyze complex technical issues, travel to shipyards and vessels worldwide, and work with controllable pitch propellers, thrusters, seals, and bearings.
What you will do
- Provide technical support and service on mechanical parts of propulsion systems
- Analyze complex technical issues and develop practical solutions
- Travel to shipyards and vessels worldwide for hands-on service
- Work with controllable pitch propellers, thrusters, seals, and bearings
- Prepare technical reports and advise on maintenance and optimization
What you bring
- Hands-on experience with servicing propulsion systems, especially thrusters and CPP
- Based in Europe (Netherlands, Greece, Turkey, Estonia, or Belgium via Netherlands office)
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently and in a team
- Good command of English, valid driving license, willing to travel abroad
