Fiducial is offering an internship for a UAV Controls Engineer in Delft. This role focuses on developing and tuning guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for autonomous flight.

- Develop and tune GNC algorithms for autonomous flight
- Integrate control modules with perception and state estimation
- Test flight control behavior in simulation environments
- Analyze flight logs and telemetry for control performance
- Configure and calibrate UAV platforms with hardware teams
- Support flight test campaigns and post-flight data analysis
Wat je meebrengt
- Understanding of flight dynamics and control theory
- Hands-on experience designing UAV control loops
- Familiarity with PX4, Ardupilot, or similar autopilots
- Strong programming in C++ or Python
- Awareness of state estimation and filtering concepts
- Full-time availability (40 hours per week)
