Internship - UAV Controls Engineer

Fiducial is offering an internship for a UAV Controls Engineer in Delft. This role focuses on developing and tuning guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for autonomous flight.

What you will do

• Develop and tune GNC algorithms for autonomous flight
• Integrate control modules with perception and state estimation
• Test flight control behavior in simulation environments
• Analyze flight logs and telemetry for control performance
• Configure and calibrate UAV platforms with hardware teams
• Support flight test campaigns and post-flight data analysis

What you bring

• Understanding of flight dynamics and control theory
• Hands-on experience designing UAV control loops
• Familiarity with PX4, Ardupilot, or similar autopilots
• Strong programming in C++ or Python
• Awareness of state estimation and filtering concepts
• Full-time availability (40 hours per week)
