About the job
ILIAS A&D BV is looking for a Senior Scrum Master to support Agile delivery in a defence context. Based in Almere, you will coach teams and stakeholders while removing impediments and improving transparency.
What you will do
- Create conditions for effective delivery through Agile events and collaboration
- Coach teams and stakeholders on pragmatic Agile thinking
- Identify and remove impediments, risks and dependencies
- Partner with product managers on backlog refinement and roadmap execution
- Collaborate with technical writers to align documentation with delivery
- Use metrics to improve predictability and transparency
What you bring
- 5+ years in Agile software delivery
- Substantial experience as Scrum Master or comparable coaching role
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile and Lean principles
- Experience coaching teams and stakeholders
- Ability to facilitate complex discussions and resolve impediments
- Eligibility for national or NATO security clearance
Nice to have
- PSM II, PSM III, A-CSM, CSP-SM or SAFe Scrum Master certification
- Experience in Spotify-inspired organisation with Squads, Chapters and Tribes
- Experience supporting multiple Agile teams in complex software environment
- Familiarity with Agile reporting and forecasting tools
- Experience with Jira or similar tools
- Previous mentoring or coaching experience
