Metyis AG is looking for an AI Solutions Engineer to join their team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will design and refine AI solutions from prototype to production, working with knowledge graphs, ontologies, and RAG pipelines. You will translate business needs into AI use cases and stay updated on the latest AI models and frameworks.

What you will do

Design and refine AI solutions from prototype to production
Build and maintain knowledge graphs, ontologies, and RAG pipelines
Apply prompt, context, memory, and harness engineering techniques
Translate business needs into AI use cases and workflows
Stay updated on AI models, tools, and frameworks
Document methodologies and standards for reuse

What you bring

1-4 years experience as software engineer, data scientist, data engineer, or AI engineer
Strong programming in at least one modern language
Proficiency with Git and software engineering practices
Hands-on experience with LLM-based systems and orchestration frameworks
Understanding of RAG pipelines and data science principles
Awareness of current AI landscape including LLMs and agentic frameworks

Nice to have

Experience with knowledge graphs, ontologies, or semantic data models
Additional languages beyond English
Experience in international, consulting, or scale-up environments
