Flow Traders is looking for a Core Data Engineer to join their Amsterdam team. In this role, you will craft datasets, own the full lifecycle of data products, and keep critical pipelines running.

What you will do

Craft datasets with quants
Develop and own end-to-end lifecycle of data products
Own data quality where it matters
Build shared foundations
Keep critical pipelines running

What you bring

Analytics or data engineering experience at startup or scale-up
Strong data modelling and data quality practice
Strong proficiency in Python
Working proficiency with SQL and relational databases
Demonstrated ability with large datasets and big data solutions
Owned something in production

Nice to have

Experience with financial data
Familiarity with point-in-time data and biases
Experience with modern cloud data stack
Experience with Airflow, Kafka, and GCP
Experience with Polars, Pandas, Spark, Apache Beam, Apache NiFi
Experience at a trading firm or similar
