Metyis AG is looking for a Data Science Lead to join their team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will manage client relationships and lead analytics projects, translating business challenges into data-driven solutions. You will also guide junior team members and drive project success in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do

  • Manage client interactions and build/maintain client relationships
  • Translate business problems into analytics solutions using data science concepts
  • Provide project management oversight to meet client expectations
  • Develop presentations and manage external relationships
  • Seek opportunities beyond current project scope
  • Guide junior team members and orchestrate team work

What you bring

  • Master or PhD in quantitative field (e.g. econometrics, AI, mathematics, physics)
  • Sharp thinking to differentiate major contributors from details and structure data
  • Robust statistical knowledge with tools: SQL, BigQuery, noSQL, R, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, machine learning
  • Proven project management with expert teams and junior guidance
  • 5-7 years consulting or relevant industry experience, 1+ years at project lead level
  • Excellent communication in non-technical terms and professional English fluency

  • Understanding data engineering solutions
