Join Adyen, a global fintech leader, as a Regional Financial Controller in Amsterdam. You'll oversee financial operations for worldwide entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
What you will do
- Oversee general ledger for global entities and branches
- Execute and validate month-end close workflows
- Collaborate with regulatory teams for accurate reporting
- Partner with tax teams for filings and provisioning
- Draft financial statements and interface with auditors
- Address ad-hoc reporting requirements from stakeholders
What you bring
- Minimum 5+ years in financial control, accounting, or external audit
- Analytical mindset and ability to work independently
- Experience in process optimization and automation
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize
- Critical and creative thinking for scalable solutions
Nice to have
- Big 4 experience
- Branch accounting experience
- Professional qualifications like CPA, CA, or RA
- Experience with Workday, Workday Accounting Center, Workiva, or similar ERP systems
