Adyen, a global payments company, is looking for a GL Accountant to join its Amsterdam team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accuracy of the general ledger, ensuring robust controls and supporting financial operations.
What you will do
- Own the accuracy of GL bookings for operational expenses
- Apply controls to P2P and R2R cycles, validate data, manage supplier accruals, reconcile prepaid assets
- Oversee high-value transactions and perform due diligence
- Review the ledger for risks and anomalies
- Manage fixed asset register, capitalization, depreciation, and IFRS 16 lease entries
- Handle intercompany bookings, month-end variance analysis, and support audits
What you bring
- At least three years of experience in GL accounting within P2P and R2R processes
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset
- Collaborative with multiple stakeholders
- Proactive in improving processes
- Adaptable to manage multiple projects
