About the job
Adyen, a global payments company, is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Scientist to join the team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will research, design, and implement machine learning algorithms for batch and real-time prediction, and contribute to the full ML lifecycle in production.
What you will do
- Research, design, implement, train, deploy and monitor machine learning algorithms for batch or real-time prediction
- Develop orchestrated pipelines for analytics and ML training
- Contribute to automation of experiments, training, validation and monitoring; collaborate with MLOps
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define and frame ML problems
- Explore and analyze large complex datasets to identify patterns and opportunities
- Define metrics, design experiments, and perform statistical analysis to validate performance
What you bring
- 5+ years experience as machine learning or data scientist
- Experience with full ML model lifecycle in production
- Experience with big data frameworks for pipelines
- Understanding of software engineering, data engineering, and MLOps principles
- Knowledge of statistics, ML for prediction, and causal inference
- Familiarity with data science toolkit: PySpark, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost/LightGBM, Pandas, MLFlow, Airflow
