About the job

Adyen is looking for a Group Financial Controller to join their Amsterdam team. In this role, you will drive the roadmap to an autonomous close and shape financial operations through change management and process optimization.

What you will do

Own the roadmap to an autonomous close
Design and deliver change with FinOps and Financial Data Teams
Run change end to end including project management and stakeholder alignment
Build continuous insight on key control areas
Maintain scalable intercompany framework and review reconciliations
Own monthly consolidated P&L one pager and month-end close activities

What you bring

5 to 10 years experience in financial control, accounting, or external audit
Track record in implementing change in finance or accounting
Experience in process optimization and automation
Experience managing multi-entity global accounting and intercompany settlements
Strong IFRS knowledge and experience with external auditors
Based in Amsterdam

Nice to have

Big 4 experience
Experience with Workday, Workday Accounting Center, Workiva or similar ERP systems
Experience with data and AI tooling
