About the job
The July is looking for an HR Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations for its hotel and restaurant in London. This role reports to the HR Director in Amsterdam and covers recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance, development, and compliance with UK employment legislation.
What you will do
- Lead day-to-day HR operations for hotel and restaurant
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance, and development
- Handle absence management, wellbeing, engagement, training, payroll support, benefits, and employee records
- Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation
- Provide practical advice, coaching, and support to managers
- Report to HR Director in Amsterdam
What you bring
- At least 3 years HR experience in London hospitality market
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and local labour market
- Natural coach and people person with energy and enthusiasm
- Confidence working with managers and employees at all levels
- Strong communication and planning skills
- Hands-on and pragmatic approach
Nice to have
- Competent with HR administration and HR systems
- Genuine interest in HR trends and best practices
- Passion for creating outstanding employee experience and positive workplace culture
