As a Senior Software Engineer, you will drive large-scale migrations, provide technical guidance, and advocate for best practices.

What you will do

Design, build, and evolve Java frameworks and components used by all Java application teams
Participate in large-scale migrations reshaping application architecture
Provide technical guidance to other engineering teams on using frameworks and libraries
Design and evolve workflows for other engineering teams, identifying pain points
Collaborate with partner platform teams on integration across tech stack
Advocate for best practices through code validation rules, workshops, and presentations

What you bring

5+ years of Java backend development experience
Strong skills in core Java and code/API design
Track record of building high-quality software with testing at all levels
Communicative, proactive team player who takes ownership and is decisive under ambiguity
Comfortable driving initiatives and building alignment with stakeholders

Nice to have

Experience with Kubernetes/cloud migrations, legacy modernization, security, or platform development
Experience developing libraries/frameworks used by many developers
Experience with build tools like Gradle or Maven
Broader architecture sense across distributed systems
Familiarity with Spring, Jersey, Feign, OpenAPI
Understanding of Domain-Driven Design and Test-Driven Development
