Pinely is looking for a Junior Quantitative Researcher to join its Amsterdam team. In this role, you will develop and improve trading algorithms using statistical models and machine learning. You will collaborate with developers and senior researchers to implement and optimize high-frequency trading strategies.

What you will do

Develop and improve trading algorithms using statistical models and machine learning
Analyze high-frequency trading strategies and market microstructure
Collaborate with developers and researchers to implement and optimize strategies
Contribute to improving existing strategies and assist senior researchers

What you bring

Degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, or quantitative discipline
Strong understanding of probability theory and mathematical statistics
Exceptional performance in mathematical or programming competitions
Proficient in Python
Some experience with C++

Nice to have

Knowledge of machine learning and contemporary methodologies
