About the job
Odyssey Hotel Group is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Amsterdam. In this part-time role, you will ensure guest comfort by handling repairs and preventive maintenance across the property.
What you will do
- Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests
- Perform basic repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair guest room items
- Assist with painting, drywall patching, carpentry, and surface repair
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Monitor and log readings for electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous maintenance experience in a hotel or similar environment
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
- Knowledge of English and/or Dutch, both written and spoken
- Positive, guest-focused attitude with a professional demeanor
- Team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills
