Pinely is looking for a Middle Quantitative Researcher to join their team in Amsterdam. In this hybrid role, you will develop and improve trading algorithms using statistical models and machine learning, and collaborate with developers and researchers to implement and optimize trading strategies.

What you will do

Develop and improve trading algorithms using statistical models and machine learning
Analyze high-frequency trading strategies and market microstructure
Collaborate with developers and researchers to implement and optimize trading strategies
Improve existing trading strategies and assist senior researchers in quantitative strategy design

What you bring

Degree in math, physics, computer science or another quantitative field
Track record of solving analytical problems
Experience in implementing machine learning algorithms

Nice to have

Outstanding performance in mathematical competitions or competitive programming contests
